It's been a huge eye opener for me today. Thinking about sales in a completely out of the box way.

Described in a way like I've never heard before.

My biggest aahaa moment of today has to be all about "The Boat"

The idea of how you take your clients from point a to point b.

It's not about the service or product but it's about the strategy within your product or service.

This is something I really love within my own business. It's so much more than taking photos.

It's about saving my clients time and attracting their dream clients by looking and feeling professional starting with their imagery.

Giving them the education and resources to be able to use their images in a way that helps them grow their business.

This year I'm determined will be my best business year yet and I'm putting all of my energy into learning and growing my business.

I've been taking part in a few courses this year and I'm currently catching up on @zackkravits 3 day course which I'm thrilled to take part in.

The image above is of me in Rio on the famous Sela

The image above is of me in Rio on the famous Selaron Steps. Unfortunately by the time I arrived the sun had gone down but it also meant less tourists so I was able to snap some pictures of me and my fellow travellers without hundreds of other people scrabbling for a photo too.

The colours and details of the tiled steps were just beautiful. I could have spent hours there.

I love looking back at my old holiday photos especially at the moment not being able to travel it helps me to remember the experiences and memories of my travels.

The point to today's post is to remember that you don't always have to share the same old images over and over, think about the images you already have and the stories you could share about your images.

I used another one of my images to spark conversation over on Linkedin last week and it went down a treat! It helped me to show my interests but really connect and engage with my audience too. It's reached nearly 2000 people so far and started lots of great conversations.

It's been another productive week here at For You Photography, a week of more learning and developing my business.

Including testing out a virtual shoot for the first time. A few of you asked me if its something I would offer. I was always unsure of how easy it would be for users but after giving it a go it was actually really fun.

You eventually forget what makes you spark because you're spending your time worrying about getting something out on your social media and not getting the results your looking for. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

But one day you hear someone talk about a really great account to follow, you give them a search and you love their content! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

You begin to learn again, you begin to get excited again as what they are sharing is so relatable, it's inspiring to you! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

You start engaging more with them and you are recommended other accounts you then sign up to their other platforms to learn more. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

You finally start to get out of your comfort bubble and begin to challenge yourself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This has been me. I was following a lot of people to support them but then struggled to see anything that related to me and my interests. (because of the algorithm)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Let's talk hopes and dreams.

Growing up I always had such a big imagination.

My brother didn't join me until I was 5 so I often made games up on my own.

I loved exploring and going on adventures.

Not much changed really other than now I have all of my teeth and I can smile properly 🤣.

When your a child you dream that anything is possible.

As we get older , doubts and experiences might change those thoughts.

But does that mean we can't dream big?

For the most part it doesn't mean that. We can do anything unless you are thinking of changing career from a librarian to astronaut then that dream probably isnt going to be a reality.

But if you want to dream big in your business then the sky really is the limit.

Surround yourself with people who empower you to succeed.

Last week I took part in @gilliandevinementor 5 day challenge and I've found it so inspiring.

My mind is bursting with ideas to help my clients with their photography and marketing.
