August was one of my busiest and most diverse months to date. It’s one of the highlights of my work that I am able to work with such a wide variety of businesses to highlight their personal brand and what they do.
My month began taking it to the streets of Heaton in Newcastle Upon Tyne for a very colourful brand shoot and the next day I was climbing ladders and capturing images of a lift shaft before it was transformed into a safe and visually attractive lift!
Back in March, I ran my very first 5-day photography for your business challenge. As a thank you for the person who was most engaging during the week they won a complimentary brand shoot which we finally were able to do this week.
I headed over to meet the lovely Rachel Hunter from R&R therapies to view her beautifully bright and airy therapy room. We worked together to capture a large collection of images that really told the story of the day in a life of being Rachel Hunter and R&R therapy.
We captured images of her space, working with her clients and everything in between. We finished the shoot-off with some relaxed images in the park showing the personal side of Rachel outside of work. I can’t wait to see the images being used for her social media and website soon.
For a little while now I haven’t been in love with my website. I knew it needed to be changed but I just hadn’t got around to doing it. However, luckily or unluckily my website decided to break a couple of weeks ago and needed urgent TLC.
Thankfully I have an amazing friend Ellen Forster of Content by the Sea who just so happens to be a copywriter and web designer. Who offered to support me to get a new look and get back up and running.
I’m delighted to say that it is now back with a brand new look and I love it! It still needs a few tweaks but overall it’s much more me.
Just a quick reminder that I am fully booked for September. I do have limited space available for October for those wanting to get booked in. Whether you’re looking for branded headshots or a full personal branding session then please get in touch and I will be happy to send you over more information and learn more about you and your brand.
That’s it for our august update, thank you for taking the time to read and support my business. Don’t forget to check out my latest blogs below including this months guest blog from Imani, the founder of The Colour Nest.
